Industrial Engineering department was established in 1999 with the aim of strengthening the relationship between Cairo University, Fayoum Branch, and industrial firms in northern Upper Egypt. The department is committed to teach students of preparatory and final years the basic sciences in industrial engineering.
Department members are interested in production, quality assurance and management, projects management, maintenance, computer applications in manufacturing, (CAPP, CAD/CAM, CIE, CIM, etc.) welding technology and manufacturing technology, etc.
