    Workshop on Challenges and Future of Renewable Energy and Water Resources in Egypt.  

   Prof. Dr. Khaled Hussein Zaghloul, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science and Prof. Dr. Arafa Sabry, Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies, received on Wednesday 1/2/2017 at the Faculty of Science the delegation participating in the workshop of challenges and future of renewable energy and water resources in Egypt organized by Center for Environment and Smart Technology Research, Faculty of Science, Fayoum University, from February 1 to 6, 2017, at the Conference Hall of the Central Office of the University, where Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamza, President of Fayoum University, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Dr. Khaled Hamza, President of Fayoum University, delivered a speech in which he stressed that the practical research is a top priority for the university administration in the coming period and the importance of cooperation. The seminar will be attended by a number of faculty members and faculty members. Between Egyptian and foreign universities in the fields of various practical research. And also to support the full university of all research projects in the fields of energy and water, which allows to display the latest findings of scientists. He added: Khalid Hamza that the recommendations of this workshop must work on them and make use of them optimally. Dr. Ahmed Saad, Director of the Environment and Smart Technology Research Center, explained that the workshop was organized with the cooperation and funding of the German-Arab Youth Academy under the supervision of a group of Egyptian and foreign professors: Dr. Frank Marlow of the Max Planck Institute in Germany; Benson University of Duisburg Essen in Germany, Dr. Moataz Suleiman University of Alexandria, Dr. David Warsinger of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in America, and Dr. Refat Abdel Wahab of the Holding Company for drinking water and sanitation. 25 trainees from science and engineering colleges from different Arab and Egyptian universities such as Jordan will be trained to discuss a number of issues related to water and renewable energy, such as water sources, and how to reuse and benefit from the water used. And the mechanism of converting the water of saline beaches into usable water through desalination, and the laboratories of the Center for Environment and Technology Research, Faculty of Science, Fayoum University.
