    DTMS Program Starts

    The Pathways to Higher Education Project organized the opening ceremony of the training program "Development of Thinking and Managerial Skills (DTMS) at the premises of Faculty of Engineering. Held under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, President of Fayoum University, the program ran from February 7th through February 17th, 2010.
    The event was attended by a number of dignitaries, namely: Prof. Mahmoud Magdy Oteiba, Project Coordinator at Fayoum University, Prof. Ahmed Fahmy Galal, professor at Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University and a trainer at the project, Dr. Abdullah Shoeeb, director of E-Learning Project and a trainer at the project, and Mr. Yusuf Ramadan, Project Administrative Coordinator. A crowd of the faculty, trainers and trainees was present, too.
    Speaking on the ceremony, Prof. Magdy Oteiba welcomed the audience, voicing his happiness with the success which the project has attained at Fayoum University.
   Following, Prof. Ahmed Fahmy gave a detailed introduction to the programs endorsed by the Pathways to Higher Education Project.
    After that, Prof, Abdullah Shoeeb inaugurated the project opening session, addressing the following:
   *Pathways are International Projects
   *Pathways to Higher Education, Egypt
   *Achievements of Pathways, Egypt
   *Pathways Progression, Growth Rate
   *Development of Thinking and Managerial Skills Program
   *Pathways-Egypt Training Quality System
   *Expectations of Pathways and Election
    The event concluded with honoring the following trainees by both Prof. Magdy Oteiba and Prof. Ahmed Fahmy:
   1-Student/ Shiamaa Wagih Tahif, one of first ranking students in Summer 2009
   2-Student/ Asmaa Kasem Abdul-Magid, the best report all over Egypt in Summer 2009.
