Note by Prof. Ahmed El-Gohary, President of Fayoum University on Science Day                                                             
My dear distinguished top-ranking young men and women graduates, I'm very pleased to extend to you my sincere appreciation for your strenuous efforts and tireless quest for knowledge, so you have attained superiority. This makes it incumbent upon the University to honor you to set an example to your colleagues. Please do not cut off your relationship with the University as it is wide open to you to enroll in postgraduate studies. Moreover, you should do your best to make Fayoum University an eminent university via keeping in contact with the Friends of Fayoum University Society.

Annually, the University is committed to honoring its elite who have made great contributions to promoting science and knowledge and have became like burning torches in their university to guide the future generations. I truly send them my appreciation.

On this august occasion, I pay tribute to the pioneers of Fayoum University, who laid its foundations to be a fortress of values and principles to the generations to come and I thank them for their giving spirit, which will remain worthy of both praise and commendation. Congratulations to the family of the University and towards further progress and prosperity.
