 For the Second Time in a Row ... Dr. Mohammed Attia Is among the Best Researchers in the World According to Spanish Webometrics
 
Dr. Mohamed Attia Mahmoud, lecturer of physics at Faculty of Science, managed for the second time in a row to maintain a ranking among the world's best researchers in the field of high energy physics according to the Spanish Webometrics classification. He is the only researcher from Fayoum University to join this list.

According to the data obtained from the classification, Dr. Mohamed Attia was ranked 519 among 672 researchers in the world, where he obtained a number of citations of 73708. This classification shows 5 Egyptian researchers representing 5 Egyptian universities in the following order: Cairo University, Zewail University, Fayoum University, Suez University, and Ain Shams University.
The data for this classification came in accordance with the Google Scholar Citations database for researchers with H-index greater than 100, and Dr. Mohamed Attia received H-index value of 119.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Mohamed Attia has already been awarded the State Award for Physical Sciences in 2013 awarded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. He is also a member of the research team for the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS), which is managed by the European Center for Nuclear Research in the course of this experiment, the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to the two scientists with the Higgs theory, which was developed 50 years ago in 1964, and the experiment was proven to be valid. It also has many sovereignty of outstanding scientific research published in the most important international journals that have a high coefficient Impact Factor effect.
