Launching Complaints Management and Support Decision-Making System Project for Sustainable Agriculture in Egypt at Faculty of Computers and Information

Prof. Ahmed Gaber Shedid, President of Fayoum University, hosted in his office on Monday morning 25/11/2019, Prof. Carman Mounir Professor of Data Science at West England University in England to start activation of complaint management system and support decision-making for sustainable agriculture in Egypt at Faculty of Computers and Information, where Faculty of Computers and Information organized an introductory workshop on the project in presence of Prof. Mohammed Essa Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Prof. Nabila Mohamed Hassan Dean of Faculty of Computers and Information and Prof. Mohamed Khafagy Acting Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Shereen Tayaa, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Somaia El Sayed, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Prof. Ahmed Gaber Shedid said that this project aims to solve the problem of support and advice to farmers by proposing the development of a new system of complaint management and decision-making support based on the application of knowledge discovery and analysis of agricultural data and farmers' queries. The project also contributes to predict the development in the near future of the conditions and then broadcast Early warning signals of threats, especially pests, diseases and necessary preventive measures to be followed by farmers.
