Final Tests of the Ideal Student Competition

Under the patronage of Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Ahmed Gaber Shedid, President of Fayoum University, the final tests for the ideal student competition were launched at the level of Egyptian universities, which is hosted by Fayoum University from 12 to 15 July 2021.
In presence of Prof. Khaled Atallah, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Taya Abdel Latif, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for student activities, member of the jury, and members of the final stage jury, who are: Prof. Hisham El-Gyoushi, Secretary-General of the Egyptian University Sports Federation, Prof. Nevin El-Sawah, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture in Fayoum University, Prof. Mahmoud Sayed Abdel Sadek, Dean of Faculty of Science in South Valley University, Prof. Roshdy El-Adawy at Kafr El-Sheikh University, and Prof. Ashraf El-Abbasi at Beni Suef University, in the presence of a number of faculty members, supervisors of participating delegations and participating students, on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in the Central Library Conference Hall.
The organizing committee of the competition had announced the winning students in the previous stage, where 6 male students representing five universities were selected, as two students from Fayoum University, a student from Suez University, a student from Alexandria University, another representative of Al-Nahda University, a student from South Valley University, and 8 female students were selected as representatives for seven universities; Sadat University, Helwan University, Menoufia University, Fayoum University, Beni Suef University, Damietta University and Suez University, to participate in the final stage.
The criteria for evaluating male and female students participating in the competition included commitment to the specified time, which is 7 minutes for each student, 3 minutes for discussion, in addition to good use of language, adequate presentation of a proposal about the achievements that occurred during the previous seven years, and the vision of each student for what can be done in the next seven years.
It is noteworthy that the first three places, male and female, will be chosen after the final tests are completed at the closing ceremony, which will be held at nine o'clock tomorrow evening.
The recreational trip will be organized for all participating delegations to visit the most prominent tourist attractions in Fayoum Governorate, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansary, Governor of Fayoum
