 The automation of the Egyptian university libraries is one of the main pillars of developing the potentials of these libraries.
It seeks to setup a bibliography website of the Egyptian university libraries via automating the work procedures at these libraries.
The index affects directly the efficiency and revenues gained from the academic libraries' holdings and services; it also helps offer many of cooperative information services such as acquisition, resources sharing among libraries and cooperative indexing
It aims to establish an inter-libraries cooperative program helping rationalize the costs and facilitate optimum methods for effectively and efficiently using the allocated resources in the Egyptian university libraries.
