    8th Course of Development of Thinking and Managerial Skills Program (DTMS) kicked off

   The activities of the 8th Course of Development of Thinking and Managerial Skills Program (DTMS) kicked off on Saturday 18/7/2009 at Grandstand 4, Building of Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. This course is held under the umbrella of "Pathways to Higher Education". The inauguration ceremony was attended by a galaxy of high profile figures including Prof. Madgy Oteiba, General Coordinator of Pathways to Higher Education, Mrs. Leila Taha, Secretary-General of the National Council of Woman at Fayoum, Mr. Khaled Fathalla, TV director and trainer, Dr. Sherif Hasan, a trainer at the project from Beni Suef Univrsity, Mr. Yusuf Ramadan, Administrative Coordinator of the project. Moreover, trainers from Fayoum University, a number of the faculty staff, students as well as some honored parents were present. The ceremony featured a detailed explanation by Dr. Sherif Hasan about programs of Pathways to Higher Education to the newly admitted students. Following, Prof. Madgy Otebia honored the following: *Parents who have the best story of struggle *Pioneer students of the 7th course, namely Shiamaa Ahmed Hasabu and Ahmed Eid Hamed. *Ideal students of the 7th course, namely Shiamaa Adel Awad and Rehab Kadry Abdel Badie *Mr. Yusuf Ramadan Mohamed for his outstanding efforts in the past courses. It is worth mentioning that the ongoing course running from Saturday, July 18 to Wednesday, July 29, 2009, is a six-class one as follows: -Two classes for the managerial approach to train 50 students; - Two classes for the behavioral approach to train 50 students; - Two classes for the knowledge approach to train 50 students. So, the number of trainees enrolled in the 8th course is 150 students.
