Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hani Helal, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Gohary, president of Fayoum University and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Khaleely Barakat, vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Social Work, Fayoum University holds the 20th Annual Scientific Conference titled " Social Work and Youth Problems in the Light of New National and International Developments ".
 Conference Objectives
-Shedding light on the most serious problems facing the Egyptian youth in the light of national and international developments (political - social - economic).
-Suggesting the most important solutions to address those problems and reduce their negative effects on youth and society through the exchange of scientific expertise between academia and practitioners.
-Setting a perception of the professional practice of social work to deal with these problems in order to achieve the desired care for young people.
Conference Pivots
1st Pivot:
Youth problems in the light of political developments
2nd pivot
Youth problems in the light of social developments
3rd Pivot
Youth problems in the light of economic developments
4th Pivot
Professional practice of social work to meet the problems of youth
Eligible research papers
Research papers should be
1- related to one of the conference pivots
2- 20 pages at most
3- typed in Times New Roman as follows
-Headings (size14)
-Body (size 12)
-Sources and references (size 12)
-Abstracts should not exceed 250 words printed on A4
4-Research papers along with abstracts to be forwarded to the Conference Secretariat – Faculty of Social Work – Fayoum University.
