The Faculty of Social Work, Fayoum University, is organizing the 21st Annual Scientific Conference on "Social Work and Human Trafficking" from May 5th through May 6th, 2010. The event is held under the auspices of Dr. Hani Helal, Minister of Higher Education and State for Scientific Research, Professor Ahmed El-Gohary, President of Fayoum University, and Professor Mohammad El-Khaleely Barakat, Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. The conference is chaired by Professor Huda Tawfik, Dean of Faculty of Social Work. Professor Bawab ShakerAli Gomaa, Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, is the Conference Secretary

*Conference Topics:

-Organ transplant and human trafficking
- Child labor and human trafficking
- Some forms of marriage such as summer marriage, child marriage,…etc. and their relation to human trafficking
- Homeless children and human trafficking
- Mechanisms pertinent to social work in the face of the problem of human trafficking

Terms and Conditions of Publication

- Eligible papers relevant to the conference topics are to be submitted for publication in one of the following languages: Arabic and/or English. 

- Papers must not be extracted from a master's thesis or a PhD thesis.

-Papers must not be published before in a journal or proceedings of another conference.

-Specifications of scientific writing of research should be precisely followed; bibliographical references must be listed at the end of the research paper.

- All research papers submitted will be evaluated by the Conference Scientific Committee.

- Original papers enclosed by 4 copies must be submitted on A4 paper.

 -The written paper submitted must be enclosed by its CD+ an abstract in Arabic. 

Paper Specifications

-Papers submitted in Arabic must be typed as follows: (font 16 for titles); (font 24 for subtitles and text). Number of lines must not exceed 24 lines per page.

Right margin:                2.5 cm

 Publication fees:

*Researchers interested in having their papers published in the Proceedings of the Conference:

-LE 400 for researchers residing in Egypt

-LE 600 for researchers not residing in Egypt  

*Fees for Extra Pages:

The above – mentioned fees cover publication of a 20 page paper in the Proceedings of The Conference. Should there be more pages, an amount of LE 15 will be charged per extra page.

- Registration fees including attendance at all sessions: LE 50
