Objectives of the Conference:
1. Study of cultural variables facing the early childhood and the effect of
different cultures on the psychological and behavioral aspects of the child.
2. Shed light on health problems in early childhood and health policies and
aspirations for the future to improve the health of the child.
3. Focus on the importance of nutrition and child care.
4. To shed light on both sides of the medical and psychological issues of female
genital mutilation and early marriage.
5. Ways to immunize against the child and family stress and behavioral problems
associated with contemporary global variables.
6. Impact of media on culture and the affiliation of children locally and
internationally.
7. Address the preparation standards of kindergarten teachers in light of recent
global changes and to shed light on quality and accreditation programs to
improve the kindergarten stage.
8. The impact of technological innovations and educational methods in light of
contemporary global variables on the child.
9. Activation of children's rights in light of global variables and define the
role of family and civil society institutions in the light of legislation and
laws that are used in the field of childhood and motherhood.
10. Merge and care of exceptional children.
Conference Themes:
First Axis: the health problems of children in early childhood
Strategies and policies, health systems and preventive measures and how we could
develop it (health legislation - School health - disabilities and early
detection and treatment) and a review of health policies and the achievements
and aspirations for the future to improve the health of the child in addition to
the problems of circumcision, care and nutrition.
Second Axis: nutritional care of the child
Ways to raise awareness of the health workers, especially pediatrics towards
problems of nutrition in early childhood and ways of early diagnosis of
diseases, malnutrition and methods of therapeutic feeding. Also behavioral
aspects of the psychological aspects which lead to nutrition problems in
children.
Third Axis: identification of sources of the formation of the culture of the
child
Identify the sources of the formation of the child's culture and sense of
belonging.
Fourth Axis: the impact of media on children
The impact of various media and liquid traditional and modern (print and audio
and video) and local and international levels on the child.
Fifth Axis: Rights of the Child
Rights of the Child in the light of international documents, policies and laws
that guarantee the rights of the child and upgrade the life and secure his
future in the framework of a culture of privacy of the community.
Sixth Axis: Communicate with organizations that support the Child
How to raise financial and technical support to support all of the terms of the
child from associations such as the Alexandria Library and UNICEF - Canadian
Embassy - Arab League - the Swedish Aid Agency - the UN Belonging - UNESCO.
Researches presented will address these previous
axes in the following areas:
1. Study the health situation in early childhood and how to prevent diseases and
to identify obstacles and problems faced and by working to develop solutions to
them in the next phase.
2. Health care for special groups of children in difficult circumstances and
violence against children - child labor and exploitation - street children -
orphans - child trafficking and sexual exploitation and the role of primary
health care in disease prevention and attention to female genital mutilation and
early marriage issues.
3. Genetic diseases and stress in early childhood.
4. Community awareness of the importance of prevention of early childhood
diseases.
5. Environmental priorities and community-based research in the field of child
health.
6. Globalization and its positive and negative effects on the culture of the
child.
7. Artistic taste of the children.
8. Games of the child between stability and change.
9. Child uses of modern methods such as the effect of TV advertising on
children, cartoon and children's, media and how it meets the needs of children
and awareness of its impact with the health of children through the media's
positive and negative aspects.
10. How to raise public awareness of issues of rehabilitation of children, those
with special needs and children in difficult circumstances in different
category, grade and status.
11. How to strengthen the role of government in the field of child health
activities and to attract the civil society institutions and experiences among
countries in the field of child health to achieve integration in this area and
partnership between the government and the private sector in civil society for
the child.
Participate in the conference: -
• Subscription fee from within Egypt 600 pounds including accommodation and
subsistence for two nights and publishing the abstract in the Conference
Proceeding.
• Subscription fee from within Egypt without accommodation 300 pounds.
• Subscription fee for participants from abroad are 600 U.S. dollars including
accommodation and subsistence for two nights and publishing the abstract in the
Conference Proceeding.
