Conference Activities
The activities of the Conference include:
• Scientific seminars on a wide range of agricultural fields.
• An exhibition in which the companies and the various bodies working in the
field of agriculture will display all new devices, equipment, production inputs
and different agricultural products.
• The Conference Board invites any advertisements in the Conference Proceedings
on the activities of bodies and institutions working in the agricultural field
(Full page ad value is 500 Egyptian pounds).
• A tour

The following are envisaged discussion points at the 6th International
Conference of Sustainable Agricultural Development:
• Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Sociology.
• Soil Sciences and Water.
• Plant Production (Field and Horticultural Crops, Botany)
• Animal, Poultry and Fish Production.
• Biotechnology (Genetics, Agricultural Microbiology, Biochemistry).
• Plant Protection (Insects, Agricultural Animal, Pesticides, Plant Diseases)
• Food Science and Technology and Dairy Products.
• Agricultural Engineering

Registration fees
The Conference fees include lunches, conference proceedings and moving from
Cairo University and coming back.
- For Egyptians
* EGP 800 to participate with a paper on one of the conference topics (fees
include accommodation).
*EGP 600 to participate with a paper on one of the conference topics
* EGP 700 to attend as an observer (fees include accommodation).
* EGP 500 to attend as an observer.
-For non-Egyptians
*$ 800 to participate with a paper (fees include accommodation).
*$ 600 to participate with a paper on one of the conference topics
* $ 700 to attend as an observer (fees include accommodation).
* $ 500 to attend as an observer.
*Registration fees can be paid in cash or by cheque to the attention of Dean of
Faculty of Agriculture, Fayoum University.

Important Dates:
*Deadline date for abstracts along with Registration Form: 15/11/2010
*Deadline date for full research papers: 30/11/2010
**
Important Notes:
-Full papers presented in English should be accompanied with an abstract in
Arabic and vice-versa.
- Full papers must be submitted as word processing files (Microsoft Word 2000)
and typed in Simplified Arabic for Arabic papers and Times New Roman for English
ones.
-Full papers should be submitted on a CD besides 3 A4 copies.
-Charts and maps should be printed by the computer.
All papers must follow the following layout:
-Headings: 16 pp.
-Subheadings: 14 pp. Bold.
-The paper text should be 14 pp.
-Left and right margins: 2.5 cm
