Under the auspices of Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab
Sabry, President, Fayoum University, the Faculty of Education will organize its
11th conference titled “Crisis of Values in Educational Institutions” on 29-30
May 2012.
The meeting will be held under the auspices of
Conference Honorary Chair Magdy T. Hanna, Vice-President, Postgraduate Studies
and Research; Conference Chair Ahmed T. Mohammad, Dean, Faculty of Education,
Conference Rapporteur Amal R. Kamel, Vice-Dean, Postgraduate Studies and
Research, Faculty of Education.
Conference Topics:
First Topic
-Philosophy of values with reference to its ethical,
educational and social dimensions.
-Crisis of values in the light of international pioneering
trends.
-Values in the light of dialogue of cultures.
Second Topic
-Values in the light of the traits of the Arab
personalities.
-Personality traits and value system
-Mental health and crisis of values
-Values and individual education
Third Topic
-Proposed visions for the development of education programs
to face the crisis of values in educational institutions.
-Information Technology (IT) and value system.
- Assessment methods and evaluation of learners.
-Courses and curricula of higher education in the light of
value system.
Fourth Topic
-Towards a value system in the framework of the Revolution
of 25 January.
-Future criteria and indicators of values of educational
institutions.
-Value structure of the individual and the Egyptian
society.
Conference Fees
The Conference fee covers conference facilities, conference
proceedings, lunches, coffee breaks and conference kit.

The official
language of the conference is Arabic; English can be used.

World-famous
experts will be hosted as keynote speakers.

Publications
*Selected reviewed
papers will be considered for publication in the Refereed Scientific Journal of
the Faculty of Education, Fayoum University. Moreover, an exhibition of
publications will be held on the sidelines of the conference. For registration,
kindly contact the Faculty Administration.

Guidelines
-Papers submitted to the Conference must not have been
previously published and must not be currently under consideration for
publication elsewhere. Three copies of the paper along with an abstract in
Arabic and English as well as a CD of the paper must be submitted.
-Format and Size
1. All papers and abstracts should be in Microsoft Word
Version, Font Arabic Transparent, font size 14, page size 20 cm x 14 cm.
-Page Limit
Papers accepted for the conference will be allocated 16
pages in the proceedings.
