23-24 April 2008 
   In the period from 23 to 24 April 2008, Faculty of Social Work holds the 19th Annual Academic Conference entitled"19th Annual Scientific Conference "Social Work and Giving Care for the Vulnerable Groups in the Light of the National and International Variables"  

Conference Pivots: 
*Monitor the professional practice of social work in the care of the vulnerable groups
*Exchanging of experience around the social work practice
*publishing the specialized scientific research in social work and human sciences
*studying the reality of the national and international variables and their impacts on the vulnerable groups
*giving a new look of the professional practice and enhancing it according to the societal developments
*monitoring the new moulds and pattern to deal with these groups
*displaying the reality and what is hoped from the views of the academic specialists and practitioners of social work to deal with these groups

Conference Pivots 
*Issues of childhood, particularly children in hazardous conditions, homeless children and those with special needs
*Youth issues, namely issues of addiction, unemployment, and environmental and auditory pollution
*Woman issues, marginalized woman, breadwinner woman and vulnerable one
*elder people issues especially with in the national and international variables
*Refugee issues in the light of the current changes
*Issues of illegal immigration and its different impacts
* Pioneer social experiences in taking care of those living in hazardous conditions
* Issues of professional practice in endangered care institutions

Terms of research submitted to the conference  
*It should be related to one of the conference pivots
*It should not be published before in a scientific periodical or a previous scientific conference
*It should 20 quarter pages at most
*It should be typed (size 14) device (IBM) font (Simplified Arabic)
*The lines in each page should be 25 lines
*There should be margins from all sides - at least a 3cm- margin
*Never mention the name of the researcher in any of the pages except the cover one; the research title should be written in the cover page and the first page, too.
*The researcher should place the bibliography in the last pages
*Revising the research is the researcher's responsibility
*The main research should be submitted enclosed by five copies; the abstract of the research should not be more than one page. A CD about the research is a must.
*The final date for submitting the full text papers and researches along with their abstracts is on 01/04/2008.

Research subscriptions  
* For Egyptians researchers (L.E 250); ($250) for non-Egyptians, with full board, and conference printed papers
