In its monthly meeting No. 91 dated January 21^st, 2014, the Fayoum University Council, chaired by President of Fayoum University Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry, took the following actions:

The Council endorsed the 2013 December Meeting Minute.

The University Council approved awarding the following students master's degrees:
-Ghady Ragaai Abdel Moniem Ahmed, Faculty of Education;
-Doaa Abdullah Ahmed Mohamed, Faculty of Education;
-Sherif Hussein abdel Aziz Mourad, Faculty of Engineering;

• The University Council approved granting Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Abu-Ria, lecturer, Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, as Assistant professor.

Education and Students' Affairs
-The University Council approved the result of B.Sc. in Early Childhood Education (May 2011)
-The University Council approved revisiting the University President's Decree No. 592 dated 7/8/2011 regarding endorsing the result of B.Sc. in Early Childhood Education (May 2011).

Graduate Studies and Research
The University Council approved the administrative and financial bylaws of new educational programs after being altered.

Donations
The University Council accepted the donation made by a businessman in the form of 4 laptops for the students who participated in the Paralympics games from Fayoum University.
The University Council accepted the donation made by Dr. Wael Mahmoud Aziz, acting chair of the Hotel Studies Department of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, who donated a frame for the first issue of Al Ahram Newsapaper along with 8 murals.
