The University Council resolved to approve the minutes of the meeting of Council held on 21/1/2014 as a true and correct record.

The University Council approved awarding the following students master's degrees:
-Abdel Mawla Abdel Salam Mourad, Faculty of Education;
-Amira Fathy Korany, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom;
-Shaimaa Salah Eldin Mohamed Hassan, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom;

Appointments & Promotions
• The University Council resolved to appoint Eng. Ahmed Mostafa Ahmed Abdel Gawad, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, as a lecturer.

• The University Council resolved to appoint Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Biomy Derar, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, as a lecturer.

• The University Council resolved to appoint Ms. Amany Saad Gaber Ali, Department of Home Economics, Faculty of Specific Education, as a lecturer.

• The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Hayam Ali Soliman, Department of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Early Childhood Education, as an assistant professor.

• The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Asmaa Mohamed Ismael, Department of Islamic Archeology, Faculty of Archaeology, as an assistant professor.

• The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Maher Ahmed Ahmed Essa, Department of Egyptology, Faculty of Archaeology, as an assistant professor.

• The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Yasser Mohamed Diab, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, as an assistant professor.

• The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Hala Khorshid Taher, Department of Planning and Development, Faculty of Social Work, as a professor.

• The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Amany Mohamed Kamel, Department of Egyptology, Faculty of Archaeology, as a professor.

Student Affairs:
-The University Council resolved to make the tuition fees of the new open education programs of the Faculty of Engineering LE 12256 per year during the academic year 2013/2014; and this sum shall be LE 14250 effective next year.

Donations and Contributions:
The University Council resolved to accept the donation made by Eng. Hebtullah Nabil Mohamed Yasin, an assistant lecturer, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, who contributed a sum of LE 8500 for the Educational Services Fund of the Faculty of Computers and Information.
