In its monthly meeting No. 82 dated March 27th, 2013, the Fayoum University Council, chaired by President of Fayoum University Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry, took the following actions:

The Council approved the 2013 February Meeting Minute.

-The University Council approved awarding the following students master's degrees:
*Mai Ali Mostafa Ali Mawaheb, Faculty of Science;
*Mohamed Samy Said Mohamed, Faculty of Education.

The Council approved awarding the following students the PhD Degrees:
*Ibrahim Essam Eldin Ibrahim Ahmed, Faculty of Science;
*Rasha Kamal Kamel Rezk Yousef, Faculty of Science;
*Taher Hassan Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels;

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Hanaa Abdel Kader Sayed, Department of Tourism Studies, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, as professor.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Suzanne Bakry Hassan, Department of Tourism Studies, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, as professor.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Mahmoud Fathy Mohamed Mahmoud, Department of Fields of Social Work, Faculty of Social Work, as professor.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Dalia Mohamed Al-Soufy Mohamed, Department of Water and Soils, Faculty of Agriculture, as assistant professor.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Hamada Ragab Hussein Behairy, Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, as lecturer.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Hala Mohamed Ahmed Al-Hanbouli, Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, as lecturer.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Abdella Ali, Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, as lecturer.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Sherine Hassan Sadek Mourad, Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, as lecturer.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Lamiaa Ibrahim Abdel Azim Daker, Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, as lecturer.

-The Council approved appointing Dr. Shabaan El Sayed Abdel Latif, Department of French Language, Faculty of Arts, as lecturer.

-The Council approved granting Dr. Yasser Ahmed Safwat Hashish, lecturer, Department of Literature, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, the academic title of "Assistant Professor ".

-The Council approved granting Dr. Ashraf El Sayed Abdel Mabood, assistant professor, Department of Hotel Studies, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, the academic title of "Professor ".


Education and Students' Affairs
-The Council approved the amendments made to the curriculum plan of the Hospital Management and Healthcare Services Diploma to be compatible with the proposed master's degree program.

-The Council approved inviting coordinators of the Management Information Systems Project (MIS) when needed to attend meetings of faculty-based education affairs committees. Also, the MIS director shall attend the meeting of the Education and Students' Affairs Council when needed.

-The Council approved the overall student intake for 2013-14


Community Service and Environment Development
-The Council approved that the Faculty of Specific Education shall accept visually and hearing impaired students at its programs.
