-The University Council approved appointing Dr. Ahmed Ahmed El Sayed Mohammad, assistant lecturer, Department of Arabic Language, Faculty of Arts, as a lecturer.

- The University Council approved appointing Dr. Mona Farag Al-Metwaly Shabana, assistant lecturer, Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, as a lecturer.

- The University Council approved appointing Dr. Taher Hassan Mohammad Abdel Hamid, assistant lecturer, Department of Tourist Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, as a lecturer.

- The University Council approved appointing Dr. Mohammad Mohammad Farag Abdel Samie, assistant lecturer, Department of Tourism Studies, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, as a lecturer.

- The University Council approved appointing Dr.Rasha Kamal Kamel Rezk, assistant lecturer, Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, as a lecturer.

- The University Council approved appointing Dr. Mohammad Saad Ali Moawed, Department of French Language, Faculty of Arts, as a lecturer.

- The University Council approved appointing Dr. Hala Abdel Hamid Mostafa, Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computers and Information, as a lecturer.

- The University Council approved appointing Dr. Emad Nabil Hassan Harb, Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computers and Information, as a lecturer.

Education and Students' Affairs:
-The University Council approved starting the second term examinations for the academic year 2012/2013 for the fourth year of the Faculty of Engineering as follows:
*Fourth year (Major: Architecture: 12/4/2013
*Fourth year (other majors): 11/5/2013.
- The University Council decided that no seminars shall be held without the university/faculty's approval.
- The University Council approved starting a summer class for maximum 8 weeks for first-year agriculture students.

Graduate Studies and Research Affairs
-The University Council approved allowing graduates of the Faculty of Education who have earned the Dar Al Uloom Graduate Diploma with a Very Good Grade to join the Master's Program of the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom on the condition that they study the required complementary courses.
- The University Council approved issuing a statement by the Administrations of the MIS and e-Portal Projects for each faculty member stating that he/she updates his academic production every six months.
- The University Council approved creating an account for the Central Library and endorsing its internal bylaw.

Faculty Members' Affairs
-The University Council approved adding two years to Dr. Mohammad Abdel Fattah Al-Eissawy, a lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, out of the period of service he spent at the Modern Academy in Maadi.

Donations and Contributions:
-The Fayoum University accepted the donation made by Dr. Mahmoud Leila, son of Prof. Zainab Radwan, a deceased professor, who donated a collection of books for the libraries of Arts and Dar Al Uloom.
- The Fayoum University accepted the donation made by Prof. Ibrahim Al Shafie, a professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, who contributed an electronic unit worth US$ 1519.99.
- The Fayoum University accepted the donation made by EMC2 Co., which contributed a device called StorCenter ix2 Network Storage which is worth LE 5000.
