In its session No. 45 of 28/10/2009, the Fayoum University Council chaired by Professor Ahmed Magdy El-Gohary, President of Fayoum University, approved of:

-ratifying
-the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Fayoum University and the University of Toronto, Canada.

- transferring Dr. Ali Ali Abdel-Tawab Abdel-Galil, associate professor at Department of Instruction Technology, Faculty of Specific Education to the same post at Department of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Kindergarten.

- Combining Previous Service Period spent by Dr. Nada Khairy Hassan Abu Al-Soud, as a lecturer at Department of English Language at the Faculty of Arts, Beni Suef University- just two years – in conformity with the regulations endorsed by the Fayoum University Council in its session held on 31/10/2007.

-the proposal submitted by the Faculty of Social Work regarding setting up the Social Guidance Office and endorsing its bye-law.

-focusing on the student activities targeted to unlearning extremism and building an open-minded graduate able to engage in dialogue as well as dealing with social problems.

-banning full-veiled female students from entering the University Dormitories as well as exams; however, they have the right to enter the campus as long as they unveil their faces to the guards to confirm their identities.

-shortening test duration as much as possible.

-the University Leaders are supposed to prepare an annual score card containing the pros, cons and obstacles.
