In its monthly meeting No. 88 dated October 30^th, 2013, the Fayoum University Council, chaired by President of Fayoum University Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry, took the following actions:

The Council endorsed the 2013 September Meeting Minute No.87.

The University Council approved awarding the following students master's degrees:

-The University Council approved appointing Dr. Tamer Mohamed Fawzy, Department of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Faculty of Medicine, as an assistant professor.
-The University Council approved appointing Dr. Hadeer Mahmoud Gamal Eldin, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, as a professor.

*Education and Students' Affairs
The University Council approved applying the Bylaw of the Cairo University's Faculty of Archaeology (Credit Hour System) at the Fayoum University's Faculty of Archaeology.

*Community Service and Environment Development Affairs
-Naming the outlet of the Center of the Blind as Stationery Outlet.

*Contributions & Donations
The University Council accepted the donation made by President Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry who donated LE 20.000 for maintaining and restoring university facilities.
The University Council accepted the donation made by Yusuf Allam's Company which donated a RISO RZ 200 Photocopier worth LE 33.000 for the Central Library.
-The University Council accepted the donation made by four tourism students who donated a water dispenser for the Student Activity Center.
-The University Council accepted the donation made by the Egyptian Salts And Minerals Company (EMISAL ) which donated a check of LE 2000 for the 21th Educational Conference of the Faculty of Education.
-The University Council accepted the donation made by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank which donated an FFR device worth LE 100.000 for the Department of Cardiology of the Teaching Hospital.
