In its session no. 25  dated December 26, 2007, Fayoum University council presided over by Prof. Dr.  Gala M. Said, president of Fayoum University, approved of allowing 25 students from the university to travel to Colorado State University next summer within the cultural cooperation between the two universities. 
  
   The approving of the continuation of the same financial rights for the full-time professors until reaching the age of seventy till the end of the academic year as well as setting up a fund for caring with death cases and those need social aid form the faculty and their assistants 
   
  The council reviewed the preparations for the first term exams. In the occasion of ending the Integrated Automation Project and E-Connectivity, it is decided to announce the results of the first and second classes of the university faculties via the hot phone line, the university website and the normal ways in the faculties. Moreover, it is decided that the exams are to be held in the stands and halls not in pavilions; the questions should be typed; the presence of a doctor and a first aid provider inside the halls is a must; smoking is banned; and the exam halls should be provided with good light.
