The Fayoum University Council, chaired by Professor Ahmed Magdy El-Gohary, approved:
-the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Fayoum University and the University of Kassala, Sudan.
-not considering any statements issued by the ICTP units as a document when promotion, and making it a must to obtain the International Computer Driving Licence approved by the Fayoum University ICDL Center.
-the decision issued by the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) No. 528 dated 9/5/2010 regarding exempting blind students from obtaining the ICDL as a graduation requirement.
-appointing Dr. Ashraf Mahmoud Amin Hassan as an assistant professor of political philosophy at the Faculty of Arts after executing all the appointment procedures along with obliging him to pass the three qualifying courses and the FLDP program within six months from taking the job; otherwise his appointment decision will be considered.
- combining Previous Service Period spent by Dr. Yasser Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Shiekh as a General Surgery Fellow at the Tropical Medicine Research Institute - just two years – in conformity to the regulations endorsed by the Fayoum University Council in its meeting held on 31/10/2007.

-transferring Physician Mohammad Ahmed Abdul-Hafez, an assistant lecturer at the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, to the same post at Fayoum University.

-transferring Dr. Ehab Mohammad El-Sayed Abdul-Mageed, a lecturer at Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, Faculty of Education, Suez Canal University, to the same post at the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Fayoum University.

-granting Student/ Mahmoud Harun Shahat, Faculty of Dar Al Oloom, a bachelor's of arts degree in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies with Good Grade as per the judicial Rule No. 225/10 and the consent of the Council of Faculty of Dar Al Oloom dated 5/7/2009.

-the proposal submitted by the Council of Faculty of Tourism and Hotels on 20/3/2010 regarding amending the faculty internal regulations of the Postgraduate Studies stage in terms of the necessity to submit a minimum valid Local TOEFL score of 500 to enroll in graduate studies.

-amendments made by the Faculty of Dar Al Oloom to some of its academic departments (Undergraduate Stage) as follows:
-altering the Title of Course (Islamic Philosophy – Philosophers of Islam - Comparative Religion) or what is called "the Political Thought" to "Dialogue Among Civilizations in English" for the third year.

-altering the Title of Course "Applied Grammar" for the third and fourth years in the second term to " The Application on Teaching Arabic for Non Arabic Speaking People"

-adding eight hours to field training for the third and fourth years per week.

-amending the Articles 1 & 4 regarding the internal regulations of the Faculty of Nursing as follows:
Article (1): The Faculty of Nursing consists of the following scientific departments:
1-Medical Surgical Nursing
2-Critical and Emergency Care Nursing
3-Maternity and Gynecological Nursing
4-Pediatric Nursing
5-Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing
6-Community Health Nursing
7-Geriatric Nursing
8-Nursing Administration
9-Nursing Education

Article (4): The Fayoum University Council awards the Bachelor of Science in Nursing upon the request of the Council of the Faculty of Nursing; graduates will not be granted the degree unless they pass the ICDL tests successfully.

-appointing Dr. Nagwa Burham Burham Ahmed – Department of Chemistry – Faculty of Science as a Professor.
-appointing Prof. Essmat Mohammad Omr, a full-time professor at the Department of Poultry Production, Faculty of Agriculture, as a part-time professor.
-appointing Prof. Sobhy Mahmoud Allam, a full-time professor at the Department of Animal Production, Faculty of Agriculture, as a part-time professor.
-appointing Prof. Abuel-Kasem Ahmed Rashwan, a full-time professor at the Department of Literature, Faculty of Dar Al Oloom, as a part-time professor.
-appointing Dr. Manal Mohammady Taha Al-Adawy, Department of Home Economics, Faculty of Specific Education as an associate professor.
-appointing Dr. Ghada Mohammad Ahmed Abdul-Hafez, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, as a lecturer.
