-appointing Mr. Hany Ali Said Mohammad, Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, as lecturer;

-appointing Mr. Ayman Hamy Ali Mahdy, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, as lecturer;

-appointing Mr. Nady Hashem Mahmoud El Sayed, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, as lecturer;

Other Decisions:
-Only the University President is authorized to take the decisions regarding grants and secondments from August 1, 2012 till holding the September Meeting.

-approved the proposal mooted by the Postgraduate Studies and Research Council dated 26/7/2012 with regard to increasing the number of supervisors who can be recruited from outside when registering for a master's or a PhD degree.

-adopting the internal regulations of Postgraduate Studies of the Helwan University's Faculty of Social Work at the Fayoum University's Faculty of Social Work and notifying the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) in this regard.

-accepting the TOEFL certificate submitted by the demonstrators and assistant lecturers who got their graduate degree from other universities when appointing them in the position of lecturer.

-altering the University Council Decision No. 52 dated 30/6/2010 regarding the TOEFL Certificate as follows: To be an approved certificate, the TOEFL / ILTES should be issued from one of the following institutions:
-The Amideast;
-The British Council;
-The Language and Translation Center; and
-The Language and Translation Centers at Universities where the postgraduates register for their degrees.

Donations and Contributions:
-Fayoum University accepted the contributions made by the Dream Women's Association in the form of a CANON IR 5880 Photocopier, HP 7000 Printer and other stuff which are worth LE 35000 for the Fayoum University's Center for the Blind.

- Fayoum University accepted the contributions made by the Egypt Green in the form of two computers which are worth LE 5000 for both Mohammad Rabie Radwan and Sherif Abd Korny, Dar Aluloom majors.

-Fayoum University accepted the contribution made by the El Hashemia for Trading and Contracting in the form of a Verna Hyundai car (model 2012) which is worth LE 72200 for Fayoum University.
