In its session no. 33 dated September 24th, 2008, University Council presided over by Prof. Dr. Ahmed El Gohary, the President, approved of:

- accepting the donation of 400 thousand pounds from the National Bank for the purchase of a digital scan to the University Hospital. As a result, the Digital Radiology Unit will be named after the bank in appreciation to its support.

-accepting the contribution of the faculty staff members and the university personnel who have donated with the fee of a day of October as a denotation to Dweika catastrophe victims in Egypt. The donation which is expected to exceed 50 thousand pounds will be sent to the bank account of Misr El Khair Association.
