Quality Assurance and Strategic Planning Center (QASPC) organized on Tuesday 17/3/2009 a workshop on "The third stage of Continuous Improvement and Qualifying for Accreditation Project (CIQAP) Projects.
Held at Training Hall of QASPC, the workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Khaleely, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Radwan, Director of QASPC, deans, vice-deans, heads of departments, and directors of Quality Assurance Units of faculties of Agriculture, Engineering, Social Work, Science and Specific Education.
The workshop commenced with a speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Radwan who tackled the following points;
*Mission and vision of QASPC
*QASPC strategic objectives
*Procedures to be done by the faculties in order to get accreditation
*Standards for accreditation endorsed by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE)
*Application terms for CIQAP
*Components of the strategic plan which each faculty will submit
*How to prepare for the third stage of CIQAP
At the end of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Mohammed El Khaleely hinted to the university's policy in the field of quality assurance and accreditation stressing that the rest of faculties should be involved in such workshops to be qualified to join CIQAP as well as avoiding the obstacles which may face them in the future.
