Training workshop highlights future visions of university projects
Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Prof. Dr. Mohammed El Khaleey held on Sunday 7/6/2009 a training workshop on the current status quo and the future visions of university projects.

Held at University Projects Management Unit (UPMU) Headquarters, the workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Shendi, UPMU Director, Prof. Dr.Sami Al Badawy, Director of Fayoum University Integrated University Management System (IUMS), Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Magdy Oteiba, Director of Fayoum University Infrastructure of information Networks, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al Shenawi, Director of Fayoum University ICT Training, Prof. Dr. Nabila Mohamed, Director of Fayoum University National E-Learning Center, Dr. Wael Al Dahshoury, Director of Egyptian University Libraries Automation Automated Libraries, Fayoum University, and Prof. Dr. Kamal Ghalab, Delegate for Faculty Leadership and Development Project (FLDP) at Fayoum University.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Shendi opened the workshop with a note in which he welcomed the attendants. After that, the workshop events began, which included a presentation of what has been done in the previous period made by all the project directors. Also, possible ways to activate the projects and find funding sources, as well as the integration of these projects with each other to obtain the best to Fayoum University were handled. Furthermore, how to take advantage of the coming competitive projects of Higher Education Enhancement Projects was tackled.

At the end, Prof. Dr. Mohammed El Khaleey accentuated the importance of submitting regular reports of on each project. Also, there was an agreement to develop a time schedule to assess the courses held by various projects and try to find opportunities of training on ICDL through ICT Training Project.
