The research plan in this department depends on conducting researches in the following fields (family and childhood - schools and youth welfare- medical and psychiatric social work - social defense- old people welfare- environment- industrial social work). The main purpose is to inform students of the roles of social work in each field, and how the social workers perform these roles. Besides, the department is concerned with developing the professional performance of social workers in general and school social workers in particular by using modern technological means, and increasing the effectiveness of clinical social work.
