In an atmosphere filled with gratitude and appreciation, the Department of Social Work Fields organized on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, an honoring ceremony for Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hosny Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty, in recognition of his efforts during his deanship, following a fruitful journey marked by dedication that witnessed remarkable progress across administrative and academic fields at the Faculty.

The ceremony was attended by a group of faculty members of the department, teaching assistants, vice deans, and the Faculty’s General Director.

The event began with warm words of welcome and gratitude for a leader who gave so much to the Faculty. The ceremony included various segments with heartfelt speeches expressing deep love and appreciation for the Dean, who was unanimously acknowledged not only as an administrator but as a true leader, a father to all, and a symbol of dedication and generosity.

Attendees emphasized that the career of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hosny set an exemplary model in academic and administrative leadership, stressing that his imprint will remain engraved in the Faculty’s history.

In his closing speech, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hosny expressed his gratitude to all attendees, offering special thanks to everyone who participated. He praised the spirit of teamwork and cooperation, describing it as the secret of success, and emphasized that the achievements were the fruit of sincere collective effort. He pledged to remain a supporter and lover of this institution, which he described as a shining beacon at Fayoum University. He also congratulated Prof. Dr. Nasser Oweis Abdel-Tawab for assuming the duties of Acting Dean of the Faculty.

At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mostafa Qassem, Head of the Department; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gamal El-Din Abdelaziz, former Dean of the Faculty; and Prof. Dr. Nasser Oweis Abdel-Tawab, Acting Dean of the Faculty, presented a commemorative shield and a souvenir photo to Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hosny Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty.
