 Cultural Club celebration event a huge success |

| A SPECIAL event was hosted by the Fayoum University Cultural Club to honor its members on May 30, 2011. The event was organized at the premises of the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom. A number of dignitaries attended the event. Key among them were Professor Khaled Hamza, Vice-President for Education and Students' Affairs, Professor Khalil Abdul-al, Dean of Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Dr. Mohsen Mohammad Ahmed, Chair of the Cultural Club, and Dr. Mohammad Al-Rabiey, Vice-Dean for Faculty of Computers and Information. The event commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by remarks by Secretary of Cultural Club Mohammad Gibril in which he expressed his joy over the establishment of the cultural club as a window for cultural events at the university. Following, Dean Abdul-al spoke about his happiness because of the student's participation in all activities offered by the club. Taking the floor, Prof. Hamza revealed his happiness due to the success attained by the club over its short history, wishing it more progress. He also pledged to offer a very high level of support to the club and its activities. The event also featured speeches by Dr. Mohsen Mohammad, Chair of Cultural club, and Dr. Farid Hidar. In addition, some poems were read by the club's members. The event concluded in distributing certificates and prizes among the distinguished students. . |
