| The Board of the Department of Literature, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, held its monthly meeting on Monday 5/9/2011. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Mohammad Abuel Magd, with the membership of Professor Abdel Rahim Yusuf Al-Gaml, Professor Mohammad Mustafa Mansour, Prof. Abdel Moneim Abu-Zayd Abdel Moniem, Dr. Yasser Hashish, and Prof. Abuel Kasem Rashwan. The meeting opened with a welcome note delivered by Prof. Mohammad Abuel Magd. The board tackled the following points: 1-Granting Researcher/Mohammad Mahmoud Ahmed Ali, master's degree for his thesis titled "Image of Martyr in Islamic Poetry till the End of Umayyad Era: Artistic Study". 2-Forming thesis committee to discuss the PhD dissertation submitted by Researcher El-Said Mahmoud Hassan which is titled " Narration in the Contemporary Egyptian Novel over the Last Two Decades of the 20th Century: Artistic Study". Thesis committee will include Prof. Hassan Ahmed Al-bendary, Prof. Abdel-Rahim Yusuf Al-Gaml, and Prof. Abdel Moneim Abu-Zayd Abdel Moniem. 3-Distributing open education courses to be taught by the Department Faculty. 4-Foming committees to examine the petitions submitted by students regarding the second term examinations for the academic year 2010/2011. |
