 Alumni Affairs Unit holds meeting with senior students |

| The Alumni Affairs Unit (AAU) of the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom held its second information day on Thursday 21/3/2013 in Lecture Hall no. 2. Senior students attended the meeting which was aimed to highlight the objectives of the unit as well as its activities and services. In his remarks, Dr. Walid Said Shaimy said: "The AAU aims to keep in touch with all graduates and help them get ready for the job market through holding regular meetings. Also, we also keen on creating a society through which we can exercise more activities that could bolster the ties between the faculty and its alumni." He also added that the AAU is committed to reinforcing aspects of academic excellence in addition to help the newly-graduated students in their job hunting, particularly in the private sector through liaising with different employers. At the end of the meeting, the attendees filled out forms to create a database of alumni so as to easily contact them in the future. |
