	Faculty of Engineering, Fayoum University, opens registration for postgraduate studies programs for the first semester of the academic year 2009/2010. The study depends on the credit hour system in the following departments: • Department of Engineering Mathematics and Physics: engineering mathematics • Department of Civil Engineering: structural engineering, soil mechanics and foundation engineering, Hydraulics • Department of Industrial Engineering: industrial engineering • Department of Architectural Engineering: architectural design • Department of Electrical Engineering: power and electric machinery, electronics and electric communications * Documents and Credentials Required : 1. Certificate of academic qualification. 2. A detailed description of all the courses studied at the B.Sc. stage. 3. Birth certificate or an official transcript of it. 4. Military status card for male students. 5. Declaration of Full-time Status in accordance with the Article 5 as well as the consent of the authority for those working for government institutions. 6. Non-Egyptian students will be treated according to the rules and regulations governing admission of the non-Egyptian students to the Egyptian universities. 7. If requested, recruits should bring the consent of the military personnel to have access to a full-time study program. 8. Copy of ID card 9. 6 personal photographs (size 4 × 6). * The System of Study The faculty follows the credit hours system in which coursework is counted in standard units called credit hours. For the first time, all holders of B.Sc. degrees in engineering from the Egyptian Universities and holders of equivalent degrees which have been accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) in all disciplines will be enrolled in the preliminary year. The academic year consist of two semesters (each is 16 weeks). Once the application is received, it is processed by the Admissions Office. *** Available Study Programs 1. Postgraduate Diploma 2.
