The Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) annually on Constitution Day (September 1) awards the International Prize of the SAS to foreign nationals as a special tribute to the recognition of their outstanding achievements in the realms of social sciences, humanities, arts and culture, in the field of natural sciences and in the field of technical sciences.

Pursuant to the ruling of Presidium of the SAS, the Prize for 2012 shall be awarded in the field of natural sciences.
*Deadline for submission of nominations is March 31, 2012.

*The completed nomination form and supplemental materials are to be mailed to the address of the SAS.
