In collaboration with the Central Administration for Cultural Relations, Organization Department, the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) announces the launch of the " NeXXt Scholars Partnership Initiative: Women Stem Education and Enrichment" which is supervised by the U.S. Department of State, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and some American private sector enterprises. -The NeXXt Scholars Initiative engages young women from predominantly Muslim countries to pursue a four-year undergraduate degree in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) at U.S. Women’s Colleges. -The U.S. Department of State invites the focus countries to bear some of the tuition fees as the average tuition fee is USD 54 per academic year. -The Initiative aims to create direct ties between the Muslim and American students with the aim of correcting wrong concepts prevailing among both sides. -Five-year membership to the New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) in addition to access to internship & research opportunities. -Seventy-four countries have been listed as focus countries; Egypt is one of them. *For more information, kindly visit the following website: www.wilson.edu
