2010 SUSI for Scholars program The U.S. Embassy announces the 2010 Study of the United States Institutes (SUSI) for Scholars program for multinational groups of university faculty and other related scholars. This is a rigorous six-week post-graduate academic program held at university campuses throughout the United States. Study of the United States Institutes are intensive post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours. The ultimate goal is to strengthen curricula and to improve the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions abroad. The institute programs offered in summer 2010 are U.S. Culture and Society, American Politics and Political Thought, Contemporary American Literature, U.S. Foreign Policy, Journalism and Media, and Religious Pluralism in the U.S. Applicants should visit the program link at http://egypt.usembassy.gov/pa/susi09.htm to download the application form and to read full information about the eligibility requirements, description, and guidelines.
