The Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT)

 announces  that nominations for the Mahathir Science Award,  Malaysia’s most prestigious

 Science  Award for tropical research, are open. The Award carries a cash prize of RM  100,000.00, a gold medal and a certificate.

   It will be given to researchers who have made internationally recognised  breakthroughs in pioneering tropical research in the following fields:

• Tropical Medicine

• Tropical Agriculture

• Tropical Architecture and Engineering

• Tropical Natural Resources
