17March2013 Morals League: soccer tourney   
     
     

 

The General Department of Youth Welfare announces that the Soccer Tournament, which is part of the Morals League organized by Fayoum University and Asdakaa Alkheir Association, will run from 19-3-2013 until 21-3-2013 at the Student Activity Center.


Prizes
-A cup for the winner;
-Prizes for the winners of the first three places;
-After each match, a prize will be given to the man of the match.


Tournament Conditions
-Teams met 1-on-1 with the defeated team getting dropped out of the competition.
- The soccer match consists of two periods of 10 minutes each.
-If the match ends in draw, there will be a penalty shoot-out.
-Each team consists of 5 players + 3 reserves.
-No player is allowed to play for more than one team.
-Each team's supervisor should be present during the match.
-The player who plays in an unfair way will be given a black card and will be dropped out of the contest.
-Matches begin at 12:00 noon.

Contest Objectives
-Promoting ethical awareness among university students;
-Disseminating a culture of positive values among students;
-Exchanging and sharing experience about good manners;
-Sustaining good behavior.


Contest Rules
-Teams take part in a competition organized according to the Olympic rules: teams met 1-on-1 with the defeated team getting dropped out of the competition.
-The quiz includes questions and situations about ethical matters.
-The league consists of 16 teams.
-Each team is composed of five students.
-Each team should nominate a student to speak about morals for five minutes.
-Valuable prizes will be given to winners of the first, second, and third places. Only the first team will be given the Contest Cup.
-Three valuable prizes.
-Certificates of Merit.
-Each team should write its own perspective in one of the following topics:
-Good manners
-Positive values
-Sound behavior
-Positive attitudes
