The Egyptian University Libraries Automation (EUL) Project of Fayoum University is now providing access to a number of large information databases for a limited time. The databases include the following: 1-World Bank e-Library It is the World Bank’s subscription-based collection of nearly 8,000 books, reports, journals, and more than 3200 working papers on policies. It also covers a wide array of topics, such as education, energy, environment, health, nutrition, population, industry, law, finance and financial sector development, macroeconomics and economic growth, private sector development, public sector development…etc. 2- World Scientific It is a leading publisher as it publishes about 500 new titles a year and 120 journals in various fields. Many of its books are recommended texts adopted by renowned institutions such as Harvard University, California Institute of Technology, Stanford University and Princeton University. 3- IET Digital Library The IET Digital Library holds more than 100,000 technical papers from 1994 onwards for all IET journals, magazines, books, conference publications and seminar digests. It is a global repository of science, engineering and technology content. 4- OECDiLibrary OECD iLibrary is the online library of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) featuring its books, papers and statistics and is the gateway to OECD’s analysis and data. It also contains content published by the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), the OECD Development Centre, PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment), and the International Transport Forum (ITF). It covers 17 topics, including economics, agriculture, transportation, environment and energy, ..etc. Also, it has about 7919 e-book titles, 30876 chapters, articles and multilingual summaries, 21329 tables and graphs, and 3458 working papers. 5- UN Comtrade Databases It contains more than 1.75 billion records starting from 1962. It provides a fully detailed description of activities of exporting and importing in approximately 200 countries worldwide. 6- IMF Publications The IMF eLibrary offers the entire catalog of IMF publications. It delivers information and perspectives on macroeconomics, globalization, development, and much more.
