The Center for the Blind and Those with Special Needs is organizing a course on "counseling for families of those with special needs".

Course objectives:
-Providing social and psychological rehabilitation of families of those with special needs and all those concerned;
-Integrating children with special needs with their normal peers;
-Building a partnership between specialists and families of those with special needs to embrace their children;
-Qualifying those involved bodies to deal with those with special needs scientifically.

Course Main Topics

The course addresses five main topics which will be fathomed, including:
1- The concept of family counseling;
2-The importance of family counseling of the parents of those with special needs;
3-Pressures and problems resulted from having a child with special needs;
4-How to counsel the parents of those with special needs;
5- Hands-on training for the trainees.

Course Logistics
1-A brief introduction to the courseware.
2-Trainees will be given the course material.
3-Giving hands-on training for the trainees.
4-Trainees will be awarded certificates of course completion; certificates are approved by Fayoum University.
5-Training will be delivered by a team of certified trainers.
6-It is a six-hour course.
7-Course fees: LE 200
