The target groups of the program are researchers enrolled in MSc, PhD programs and young Post Doctoral candidates.
 Duration: up to six months.
 Eligibility
1. Applicants must be currently affiliated with an Egyptian university or an Egyptian Research Institute.
2. Applicants should not have been granted DAAD or MHESR grants within the past three years.
3. Graduates: shouldn’t be older than 26 years.
4. PhD candidates: shouldn’t exceed 36 years. However priority will be given to young scientists.
5. Post doc candidates shouldn’t be older 40 years.
Program priorities
A general basis, priority will be given to the following fields without excluding any other fields: water, renewable energies, medical sciences, material sciences, biotechnology, social sciences and humanities. Pre-selection application forms can be filled out electronically as of the 15th of October and prior to the 30th of November (Autumn Call) and as of the 15th of March and prior to the 30th April (Spring Call)
