The Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) invites interested researchers to submit their research paper for

- The 2014 Da'wa (Call to Islam) and Islamic Jurisprudence Award.

Award Categories:

- The Award consists of three (3) categories as follows:

-First: LE 10000 for the best two research papers (LE 5000 per winner) submitted in the following topics:

-1- Al Azhar: Past, Present, and Future

-2- The Concept of Civil State in Islam

-Second: LE 40000 (forty thousand Egyptian pounds) as prizes for the best genuine research in one of the above mentioned topics.

-Third: LE 20000 (twenty thousand Egyptian pounds) as incentive prizes for good researches that have not won a prize in one of the genuine above-mentioned topics; LE 1000 (one thousand Egyptian pounds) per winner.

Eligibility

- 1-The research paper must be original and not previously submitted to any other body.

-2-The research paper must be distinguished and include fresh additions and opinions.

-3- The owner of the research cannot have won the competition should not have won any prize before.

-4- The research shall be in three copies, ranging between 100 and 200 pages each, with three copies of a 10-20-page synopsis

Deadline for submission of research papers:

-The research paper should be submitted in three copies not later than March 31st, 2014.

Research papers should be addressed to:
