Cairo University

invites researchers to apply for

“Prof. Shawki Al-Fangary’s Annual Award for Best Theoretical and Applied Studies for the Good of Egypt”

under the theme of “Scientific Perceptions for Combating Illiteracy Problem in Egypt”.

-The Award consists of three categories as follows:

1-First: LE 15000

2-Second: LE 10000

3-Third: LE5000

   Also, the other fifteen winners will be granted a sum of LE 1000 each as an incentive prize.

Ideal candidates should not have won any of the endowment prizes during the past three years.

Eligibility

1-The research paper must be original and not previously submitted to any other body. It should offer new ideas to solve the problem of illiteracy.

2-The research pages shall be 50 pages typed in Arabic and written in font “14”.

3-The research paper must be particularly prepared for the competition and should be submitted to the Director of Prof. Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development in three copies along with three copies of the abstract no later the end of September 2014.

4-Awards will be distributed in an awards-giving ceremony to be held by the University Administration in March and to which the concerned bodies and media men will be invited.
