The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT)

 in conjunction with the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO) and Haut Commissariat au Plan and Microsoft

 is organizing a symposium on:
"Development of Industrial Information Sector in the Arab Countries"
in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco on 28-30 October 2014.

This symposium aims at:
- drawing new policies that could help different society strata to use information age tools;
- enhancing industrial information centers using the latest methods in processing, marketing information, and establishing digital libraries;
- creating international cooperation channels through exchanging experiences and setting rules regarding initiating joint programs; and
- working with both public and private sectors to build IT infrastructure.
