President of Fayoum University has given his consent on the request submitted by the board of Pathways to Higher Education to hold an Entrepreneurs Forum for project's graduates and university students at the premises of the campus. The Project's Board is planning to organize the "Entrepreneurship and the Future Forum" on 26-27/4/2011 at the Fayoum University's Main Hall. The idea The idea behind the forum is simple - to disseminate awareness among the youth of the importance of entrepreneurship and how to help and inspire entrepreneurs to grow the most successful business possible with the aim of establishing a renaissance at the community in addition to proving the efficiency of the project's graduates. Tentative Curriculum of the Forum: The curriculum scheme will include: I. LECTURES (L) & Workshops (W): • Employment creation potential in Fayoum and other provinces • Entrepreneurship and stories of success in the field of small- and micro scale enterprises • Applicable ideas and innovations for project's graduates and young entrepreneurs II. EXHIBITION (E): An exhibition is to be held on the sidelines of the forum. It will feature all available employment potential, tips about entrepreneurship and applicable ideas and innovations for young entrepreneurs. Forum Agenda Tuesday 26/4/2011 There will be an exhibition on the sidelines of the event featuring: * Glass Painting Exhibition as well as a free course on glass painting for 20 students. *A seminar about small-scale enterprises and how to finance them by the Small Enterprises & Community Development Association based at the province. *A puppet show performed by one of the project's graduates. *A presentation on the Academy of Training and Marketing by one of the project's graduate. *A presentation by ZAD Center for Languages on a one-month long course for 200 students. The course is for free. * A presentation on ZAS Center for Computer and Academic Research. * A seminar about the problem of the Nile water and how to rationalize our use of water. *A talent show by project's graduates and university students. Wednesday 27/4/2011 There will be lectures and workshops on the following subjects: • Available employment potential in Fayoum and other provinces • Entrepreneurship and stories of success in the field of small- and micro scale enterprises • Applicable ideas and innovations for project's graduates and young entrepreneurs
