About

The second year plan 2018/2019 of the 8^thFive Year Plan for missions 2017/2022 is open for the competitive system

As follows:

Areas available to apply for external missions:

- New and renewable energy.

- Desalination of water resources.

-Computer Science and Information Technology.

- Life sciences.

-Agricultural Sciences and Nutrition.

-Commercial Sciences.

-Social, human and educational sciences.

- Rare and modern engineering and technological sciences.

First: External mission to obtain a PHD

- He should be an assistant teacher or an assistant researcher in one of the entities included in the mission plan, and his appointment period should not be less than two years.

- The age of the applicant must not exceed 30 years at the date of the announcement in accordance with Article (11) of the Law of Missions No. 112 of 1959. The article also authorized the Executive Committee after taking the opinion of the sending party to exceed the age requirement for considerations related to the public interest, and it is allowed to have a maximum 2 years exception.

- If the applicant is registered for a PhD, the registration period shall not exceed one year at the date of the announcement. If he is not registered for a PhD, the period of his master's degree shall not exceed two years.

- The general assessment of the first degree should be very good at least.

- The applicant should have a master's degree in the specialization of the mission.

- Obtaining 6.5 IELTS or 79InternationalTOEFL in IBT  to apply for  this level to English-speaking countries. Or obtaining higher-level that is required by some foreign universities.The validity of the certificate is a period of two years from the date of the examination and the applicant should submit the original certificate.

- The approval of the employer to apply for these missions should be  approved and signed by the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research  as An Endorsement Letter.

- Names of three professors can be contacted when needed and clarify the means of communication with them.

- Copy of the national ID card.

Second: Language levels required when traveling without studying English:

- German: Level B2 from the Goethe-Institute before traveling.

- Italian Language: Level 6 (300 hours(

- Spanish language: get a DELE certificate.

- French: Level B2 of the French Cultural Center.

- Russian language: 6 months (288 hours study at the Russian Cultural Center).

Selection rules of candidates for external missions according to the following order:

- Holders of the highest scores in international examinations, IBT or IELTS, preferably to pass the GMAT or GRE exams for commercial sciences or GRE for the rest of specializations.

- Guided by the opinion of the Council of Sector on the strength of the research project and its impact on the national plan of the state and scientific research.

- the highest general grade in the first degree in the case of equivalence in grades.

. The final approval of one of the world-class universities is preferred.

Important Notes:

_There will be personal interviews with those who will have the highest grades in technical assessment.

_There are no financial provisions for the family to be taken in all the categories of the mission.

Method of progress:

The registration is made electronically through the website of the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector  http://www.mohe-casm.edu.eg/ during the period from 9/10/2018 to 8/11/2018,with

 photocopies of all theelectronically required documents, in addition to handing over the paper file, including the origin of all documents that have been electronically attached to The General Administration of The Missions, El-Tahrir Disassembler , the 7th floor, the Management of The Plan.
