At its meeting on April 14, 2009, the Committee of Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Shawki al-Fangari's Endowment for the best theoretical and applied studies in Egypt, based at Cairo University, decided the following:.
First: The 2009-2010 competition will be about:
"Landmines in Egypt ……..Problem and Solutions" Second: The allocation of LE 45000 (forty five thousand Egyptian pounds) as prizes for the best genuine research in the aforementioned topic as follows: * First prize : LE 15000 (fifteen thousand Egyptian pounds) . * Second prize : LE 10000 (ten thousand Egyptian pounds) * Third prize : LE 5000 (five thousand Egyptian pounds) .
-The allocation of LE 15000 (fifteen thousand Egyptian pounds) as incentive prizes for good researches that have not won a prize in the above-mentioned topic; LE 1000 (one thousand Egyptian pounds) per winner. The owner of the research cannot have won the competition over the last three years, in order to give opportunity to others..
Third: Competition Conditions: 1- It shall be distinguished and include fresh additions and opinions that may benefit Egypt and solve its problems.2- The research shall be in the aforementioned topic, ranging between 100 and 200 pages, typed in Arabic.3- The research shall be conducted specifically for the competition and can not been published or submitted to any other body.4- The deadline for submitting researches is June 2010. Researches shall be sent to the Office of Fayoum University Vice-President for Community Service and Environmental Development, with three copies of synopsis. 5- High-profile figures will be invited to the awards ceremony, which will be held in May on the day scheduled by the University Administration. |
