Pursuant to the cooperation between the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, both bodies propose the following initiative:

 Information Technology Academic Collaboration (ITAC) Initiative

It is funded by Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

Available Programs

There are six main programs available as part of ITAC. These include:

*Projects aim to promote Industry/University collaboration with Communications and Information Systems Companies:

-The Product Development Projects (PDP).

 -The Advanced Research Projects (ARP).

*ITIDA Fellowships

*Patent Filing Program (PFP)

 *Student Graduation Projects

 *Students Summer Training

**ITAC is accepting round VI applications till 30th June, 2009.
