The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) invites nominations for the 2011 State Awards.

There are four classes of awards:
First: Nile Awards: five awards (LE400, 000 as well as a gold medal per each) as follows: three awards in the fields of basic, agricultural, medical, engineering sciences as well as two awards advanced technological sciences that serve the aforementioned fields.

Second: State Merit Awards: ten awards (LE200, 000 as well as a gold medal per each) as follows: five awards in the fields of basic, agricultural, medical, engineering sciences as well as five awards in advanced technological sciences that serve the aforementioned fields.

Third: State Distinction Awards: ten awards (LE100, 000 as well as a silver medal per each) as follows: seven awards in the fields of basic, agricultural, medical, engineering sciences as well as three awards advanced technological sciences that serve the aforementioned fields.

Fourth: Incentive Awards: forty awards (LE50, 000 per each) in the fields of science and advanced sciences in the domains of: mathematics, physics, geology, chemistry, biology, agriculture, medicine, and engineering.
