The Supreme Council for Culture (SCC) invites nominations for the 2011 State Awards.

There are four classes of awards:
First: Nile Awards: three awards (LE400, 000 as well as a gold medal per each) in the fields of arts, literature and social sciences.

Second: State Merit Awards: ten awards (LE200, 000 as well as a gold medal per each) as follows: 3 awards in arts, 3 awards in literature and 4 awards in social sciences

Third: State Distinction Awards: seven awards (LE100, 000 as well as a silver medal per each) as follows: two awards in arts, two awards in literature and three for social sciences.

Fourth: Incentive Awards: (LE50, 000 per each) in the fields of arts, literature, social sciences, and economic and legal sciences science.

Individuals can apply for the Incentive Awards personally at the SCC HQ at 1 El Gabalaya St. Opera House, Elgezira, Cairo.
Cordially send a list of the nominees selected for the above mentioned awards with nomination qualifications and a CV per each nominee in a ten-page file enclosed.

A written approval by the nominee stating that he/she accepts the nomination must be included as nomination will be invalid without it.

Deadline for submission of nominations is December 20, 2011.
